The Gibson Nighthawk 09 Electric Guitar features a gorgeous non-arched AAA maple top on a bound, thin-contoured, single cutaway body and a 22-fret bound rosewood neck on a set mahogany neck. The Limited Run Nighthawk '09 is loaded with two of Gibson's most outstanding pickups to produce a rare combination of tones. Widely known as Gibson's first successful single-coil pickup, the lean and mean P-90 (neck) offers a stellar combination of high output and biting treble response. The Burstbucker 3 (bridge) has unpolished magnets and non-potted coils, like the original "Patented Applied For" pickup. It is slightly overwound, with hotter output. All hardware on the Gibson Nighthawk guitar is chrome including Kluson tuners and a fixed Tune-o-matic bridge with a stopbar tailpiece. comes with a special Limited Run Series certificate of authenticity and a black hardshell case with white interior and silkscreened Gibson USA logo.
